THROTTLE POSITIONING SENSORS

The throttle position sensor moves with the throttle and sends a voltage signal to the ECM indicating throttle angle, speed, and movement data. The ECM uses this data to measure engine load, adjust timing, fuel delivery, EGR, and converter clutch operation, and clear flood mode.

NERNEX Throttle Position Sensors are designed, manufactured, and tested to maintain specific installed OE output parameters rather than adjustable consolidated designs.

All NERNEX TPS use premium Integrated circuits capable of precisely measuring the rotation of small magnets attached to the throttle shaft and are calibrated to provide OE accurate, linear output characteristics.
